Foreign Trade Zones

Facilitating trade between the CAFTA countries and Florida are the state’s 20 Foreign Trade Zones. Located at or near one or more of Florida's seaports and international airports, these Foreign Trade Zones make it possible for a company to add value to foreign goods tariff-free before they are shipped on to another country. As the commercial hub of the Western Hemisphere, Florida is a major transshipment and distribution point for goods moving between the CAFTA countries and the rest of the world.
